Copra cake or expeller cake is a commodity which is highly sought after for the animal feed industry. This is a by product of the oil extraction process from COPRA, once the copra is crushed for oil the balance waste left out is called COPRA CAKE.

There are 2 types of Copra Cake :

- The first type is the cake that is obtainer after 3 expelling process which is a common SOP in most Crushers units using Chinese made Expellers. The Cake obtained from such expellers will hold 8-10% oil content.

- The second type is cake that goes for further chemical extraction, this cake will have 2-4% oil content.
